1. Information We Collect
We collect and process the following information when you interact with Project Evelyn:
- Email address: Used to authenticate your account, provide waitlist or feature updates, and communicate about app usage and release updates.
- User ID: A unique identifier we assign to your account.
- User content: Including search query logs, voice inputs, messages, and project metadata created in the app.
- Product interaction data: Such as taps, screen views, and session events, to understand how you use the app.
- Diagnostic data: Technical information from feedback forms, including bug descriptions and screenshots.
We do not collect sensitive categories such as precise location, contacts, health data, or payment-card numbers.
2. Third-Party Sharing and AI Processing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. To process your search queries and generate conversational responses, the text of your query and transcribed voice inputs are shared with our authorized upstream AI partners, specifically Google (Gemini APIs), OpenAI (ChatGPT APIs), and Anthropic (Claude APIs).
Only the text prompts or query transcripts you enter are sent to these services to generate answers. No personal identifiers (such as your name, email, Apple ID, or location) are shared with these third-party AI service providers. We confirm that all third-party AI partners we share data with are contractually bound to provide the same or equal level of protection for your query data as described in this policy.
Additionally, no advertising code or tracking libraries are present in either the iOS or watchOS client apps.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
Users can permanently delete their query history directly from the Settings menu in the companion iOS app. When requested, all history logs are purged immediately and irrevocably from our backend databases.
4. Children's Privacy
Project Evelyn does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us for immediate removal.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "last updated" date at the top of the policy.
